Amersham & Chiltern Rugby Club’s (ACRC) Under 13s team are sporting a new logo on their kits for the 2023/24 season, thanks to a partnership between the club and a local charity.
Mission EmployAble, which is based at the Café on the Common in Chorleywood, works alongside the Bucks College Group to provide 11-month supported internships which prepare young people with learning disabilities for the world of work.
The charity’s logo now appears on the Under 13 team’s football kit.
Jennie Cahill, sponsorship manager at ACRC, said: “We are dedicated to our grassroots sport and our rugby club community, so it’s wonderful to see so many young players grow and develop confidence and life skills, as well as playing skills.
“All the hard work pays so many dividends, and it’s wonderful to have the chance to highlight the equally incredible work of local charities such as Mission EmployAble through our new partnership.”
