A Chalfont St Peter choir is encouraging carers to join them.
Formed six years ago, Carers Bucks Choir has gone from strength to strength and offers some all-important ‘me time’ for people who are caring for a loved one, as well as the chance to come together and sing with friends.
The choir meets twice a month at Chalfont St Peter Community Centre and is led by the enthusiastic team from singing group Sing Your Pain Away.
The choir helps to support the health and wellbeing of carers across Buckinghamshire, as singing has been shown to lower stress, boost mood and release endorphins.
They recently stole the show at the Carers Bucks 20th anniversary celebrations at Missenden Abbey in October.
