A talented designer from Boxmoor appeared on a Channel 4 TV show just days before Christmas.
Shell Frostick, of Miss Shelly Designs, creates bespoke cards, portraits, decorations and wreaths from her home.
She appeared on Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas 2022 on Tuesday, December 20, competing against other crafters from across the country to make the best Christmas wreath in just four hours.
After successfully being interviewed for the show, Shell was invited to Devon for filming in October.
During the episode, Shell showed presenter Kirstie Allsopp how to use a knitting mill, one of the skills needed to make a wreath.
She said: “Looking back at the time, I didn’t really absorb it or take it in because I was just so nervous and worried about getting it all done.
“She [Kirstie] was lovely. Really friendly to us all and joking about. It was very relaxed.
“I hope the viewers see the detail that goes into my work and how much care I take in my designs.
“I really want them to see the care and attention I take.”
