A former student at The Royal Masonic School for Girls (RMS) in Rickmansworth has embarked on a scholarship to play tennis in America.
After completing her A Levels last summer, Aneka has just completed her first year as a student-athlete at Jacksonville State University in Alabama.
She said: “My first year at Jacksonville State has been truly amazing. Like any big transition, it came with its challenges. I initially found it a bit overwhelming adjusting to a completely new environment, away from everything familiar. But after the first semester, I really began to find my rhythm.
“I’ve grown so much, both academically and personally, and I’ve had the chance to meet some incredible people along the way. It’s been a year full of growth, new experiences, and valuable lessons.”
