A new outdoor gym has been installed in Kings Langley to help residents get fit in the new year.
The Trim Trail, installed by Kings Langley Parish Council (KLPC), is located in Green Park between the Girl Guide Hut and the existing playground.
Plans for the outdoor gym date back to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Parish councillor Ian Sinclair said: “This is a great addition to our leisure facilities in Kings Langley. It’s also responding to an identified need in our new Neighbourhood Plan.”
However, the installation was not without its problems. The equipment was first delivered inside the Girl Guide’s compound, which the workmen were not able to access. They were also unable to access water at first, though this was later provided by generous residents Gary and Daphne Page through their outside water tap.
