A 37-year-old man charged with false imprisonment and a baseball bat attack in Watford is due to stand trial on July 11.
Seun Daramola, of Byron Road, Wealdstone, London, is accused of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, two charges of false imprisonment, possessing heroin and cocaine with intent to supply.
The charges relate to two different days at an address in Westland Road, Watford – Friday, January 14 and Thursday, January 20.
According to information previously released by Herts Police, a man aged in his 40s and a teenage boy were held against their will inside the address, before the man was assaulted with a baseball bat.
He suffered fractures, bruising and swelling, and required hospital treatment.
Police attended and large amount of class A drugs were recovered from the address, along with several mobile phones and hundreds of pounds in cash.
Daramola was remanded in custody by Judge Michael Kay QC at St Albans Crown Court (pictured) today (February 21).
A plea hearing is set for April 12.
