Police have confirmed that a man in his 30s who was injured when a wall collapsed at a building site in Watford earlier this morning has sadly passed away.
Emergency services attended the scene at Hagden Lane at around 10:18am today following reports of an injury on site following the incident. Fire services, police and paramedics were all called, and motorists were advised to avoid the area.
Now, a spokesperson for Herts Police has said: “Following today’s incident at Hagden Lane in Watford we can now confirm that sadly the man, aged in his 30s, passed away at the scene. His next of kin have been informed. The Health and Safety Executive has also been notified.”
