Earlier today (Friday, June 6), three lanes on the M25 were closed after a car caught fire near Watford.
The lanes were closed clockwise between J18 Chorleywood and J19 Watford.
The National Highways shared that there were around seven miles of congestion on approach and, though the lanes have been reopened, long delays are still expected.
Drivers are also being asked to avoid the A41 Kings Langley Bypass Southbound, which is partially blocked due to an earlier accident before the M25.
More updates to follow.
