Kings Langley Football Club (KLFC) recently hosted a community meeting to address concerns about antisocial parking.
On Thursday, November 6, KLFC met with residents of Coniston Road and Hempstead Road to address their ongoing concerns, which have been linked to visitors attending football matches.
The event brought together key stakeholders, inviting representatives from Hertfordshire County Council (HCC), Kings Langley Parish Council, and police. Also in attendance was the Leader of HCC and Kings Langley councillor Richard Roberts.
KLFC outlined the measures already implemented, including regular communication with supporters, use of stewards, and signage.
However, representatives did acknowledge that problems continued to persist on match days.
It was agreed that wider action was needed. HCC committed to plans to install double yellow lines at the junction of Coniston Road and Hempstead Road, with permanent bollards also being considered.
Parish and county representatives will work together to explore ways to reduce disruption.
