A BBC comedy series starring Greg Davies, one episode of which was filmed in Abbots Langley, is now available to watch on iPlayer.
Cast and crew visited the village during filming for the second series of The Cleaner last October.
The show stars Davies as Paul ‘Wicky’ Wickstead, a man who works as a cleaning technician for crime scenes.
The Abbots-focused episode features Wicky completing a night job following a shooting in a tech shop, and sees him sharing the screen with guest star Asim Chaudhry.
Several village locations can be spotted in the episode, with Sheffields appliance store on the High Street standing in for the both the exterior and interior of the tech shop.
Other locations that feature in the show include Dolphin Fish Bar, which is renamed as Polly’s Fish N’ Pies for the episode, and the allotments next to the community centre.
