Learning disability employment charity Mission EmployAble have announced a new piece of art to adorn the entrance of the under-construction cricket club pavilion on Chorleywood Common.
The Willow Tree art installation will depict a tree, with a set of cricket bats, some stumps and some dogs and puppies. Each item can be sponsored by a member of the public, with all proceeds going towards Mission EmployAble.
A bronze leaf costs £200, an orange one is £250, a silver one is £300 and a gold one costs £500. To sponsor the bat and stumps will cost £950 and £750 respectively, whilst the dogs and poppies will cost £950 and £800 each.
A spokesperson for Mission EmployAble said: “We are delighted to introduce the Willow Tree, which will take pride of place in the entrance of Chorleywood Cricket Club’s new pavilion.
“This specially commissioned art installation is a wonderful way for families, friends and supporters of Chorleywood Cricket Club and Mission EmployAble to celebrate and donate with a dedicated leaf. A year of hope, celebrating lives and raising funds together, one leaf at a time.”
The deadline to sponsor a leaf is for September 12. To do so, visit this link. If you have any issues or questions, please email erica@missionemployable.co.uk
