POLICE APPEAL: Officers appeal for witness after arson damages property in Borehamwood

Officers are appealing for witnesses and information following an arson in Borehamwood.

On Friday, July 8, at around 8pm, it was reported that a bin store had been set on fire in Birch Walk, Grove Road. The fire caused severe damage to the bin store, as well as causing smoke damage to the property above.

PC Conor Eggenton, who is investigating, said: “If you believe you may have witnessed anyone acting suspiciously in the vicinity of Birch Walk around the time specified, or think you may have any information that could assist with our enquiries, please get in touch.

“Any information, even something that may seem relatively minor or insignificant, could be key to progressing our investigation.”
