A girl’s prep school in Bushey is set to welcome a new headteacher from September.

The Aldenham Foundation, which encompasses several schools in the area, is proud to announce the appointment of Andy Kaye as the new head at St Hilda’s Prep School for Girls.

Mr Kaye has been integral at school in his role as deputy head since 2016 and worked in several schools before joining St Hilda’s.

Due to take over in September 2022 for the new academic year, Mr Kaye shared how he is looking forward to his new role: “I am absolutely delighted to have been appointed as the new Head of St Hilda’s. It is a wonderful school with such a warm and welcoming ethos.

“When you set foot in the building, it is clear to see the happiness and pride the girls have in both their school and their learning. I am very much looking forward to continuing to work with colleagues, parents and the girls in supporting them to achieve their true potential, both inside and outside of the classroom.”

James Fowler, the outgoing headmaster and CEO of the Aldenham Foundation, commented on the appointment: “I am absolutely delighted that Andy Kaye has been appointed as the new Head of St Hilda’s School.

“He is so familiar to everyone in the school community as a popular and successful Deputy Head and has all the capabilities to lead the school in succession to Miss Styles. I know that he will also be a very key member of the Foundation Leadership Group and work well with the Governors, all of whom are committed to seeing St Hilda’s flourish under his leadership.”
