A 32-minute video has gone viral after a YouTuber was arrested in Watford town centre,
The clip was uploaded yesterday (Thursday, May 15) by Auditing Britain, and shows police reportedly arresting a man under Section 50 of the Police Reform Act for antisocial behaviour and suspicion of theft.
Police approached the man for “following one of our PCSOs [Police Community Support Officer] around and taking photos in Atria”.

The police shared: “We are aware of a video circulating online involving police officers searching an individual in Watford.
“On Monday, May 12, officers responded to reports of a man behaving suspiciously in the town centre. The individual whose face was partially covered was seen acting suspiciously around parked vehicles and following a Police Community Support Officer for a time, which raised concerns about his behaviour.
“Officers approached the man believed to be concerned in order to understand what he was doing and why, especially given recent car theft offences in the local area. The male refused to engage with officers and during the resulting stop and search they found equipment they suspected could be used to enable car theft. The man was then arrested. Following further enquiries, no further action was taken against him.
“We are committed to tackling the crime affecting our communities and will continue to challenge or make reasonable enquiries where unusual or suspicious behaviour occurs.”
