Aldenham School welcomed the CEO and founder of a parental support group for young footballers in November.
Marcia Lewis, CEO of No1Fan.club, is mum to Myles Lewis Skelly, who attended Aldenham School between 2018 and 2023. Myles, now 18, is currently playing for Arsenal’s first team.
Marcia states on the No1Fan.club website: “When my son showed serious potential on the pitch, I quickly realised that the world of youth football can be confusing for parents. When he was just 11, football agents started calling.
“By 12, brands wanted to discuss boot deals, and at 14, he was offered an early scholarship at his academy. At various points, I felt unprepared to make decisions that could impact his future.”
No1Fan.club aims to give families the knowledge and support they need throughout their journey.
In a post on Facebook, Aldenham School said: “We were privileged to be joined by Marcia Lewis.
“Marcia spoke excellently about how parents can support their children through their education, whilst still allowing them to follow their sports dreams. Thank you, Marcia.”
