Hemel Hempstead Swimming Club (HHSC) is reflecting on its members’ successes at the latest county championships.
HHSC faced talented swim teams from across the borough at the Hertfordshire County Championships, held at Westminster Lodge in St Albans last month.
Several HHSC swimmers competed, including Luca Capozzi, who came 7th overall in the 10-11 age group.
HHSC posted on social media: “We are super proud of our young swimmer Luca, who received a special visit yesterday from Swim Herts president, Jane O’Brien.
“She presented Luca with his award of 7th place overall in his 10-11 age group at this year’s Hertfordshire County Championships. An outstanding achievement and impressive performance. Luca, we are super proud of you!”
