Two popular summer events in the village are returning this month after a two-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Firstly, the Chorleywood Village Day will take place on Saturday, July 9 from 12pm to 4pm, on the Chorleywood Common.
Stalls, funfair rides and various activities are set to take place, with the ever-popular Dog Show also making its return to the village.
Entry is free. For those interested in having a stall at the event, please contact Laura Hamilton of Chorleywood Parish Council to apply, via info@chorleywood-pc.gov.uk
Also set to take place in July is Chorleywood Classic & Supercar Show. This will be held on Saturday, July 16 from 10am until 4pm.
Hosted by Chorleywood Common Youth Football Club, the last show raised more than, £7,500 for local charity Peace Hospice Care, with another £1,000 going towards the hosts.
Show founder and organiser and Chorleywood resident Guy Davis said: “The show is firmly established as both a community event and a classic and supercar car show in its own right.”
