Published on: 3rd July 2024   |   By: Bryn Holmes   |   Category: Uncategorized

Kings Langley Community Choir (KLCC) are in fine voice after what has been a very successful summer term so far.

The choir followed up their always anticipated performance at Kings Langley Carnival on Saturday, June 22, with a special joint concert with the Chinnor Silver Band at St Lawrence Church in Abbots Langley on Friday, June 28.

Performing under the banner of ‘Swing & Sing’, the event was part of the ongoing Abbots Langley Festival and was supported by The Old Palace pub on Langley Hill.

The term ends on Tuesday, July 16, with an evening for members of the choir in The Old Palace, where they will celebrate with a song or two.

KLCC’s annual summer workshops will return on August 6 and 13, and are open to anybody who would like a taste of what it is like to sing with a choir. These workshops will take place in Christchurch Baptist Church in Kings Langley, beginning at 7.30pm.

Each session will cost £10 for adults or £5 for juniors aged 16 or under. Previous singing experience or musical knowledge is not necessary.

KLCC’s autumn term will start on September 10.
