It’s been an exciting year since we last caught up with Radlett’s favourite fairy, Sparkles.
Fairy Sparkles, also known as songwriter and vocal coach, Natalie Austin, set up the popular bedtime story show, Stories with Sparkles, in March 2020 during the first lockdown.
Sparkles appeared in more than 100 live episodes via Facebook, acquiring an international following as well as local.
In the last 12 months, Fairy Sparkles has appeared on CGTN Europe in a ‘lockdown success’ feature episode and was invited to be a guest on the Duchess of York’s show, Storytime with Fergie and Friends.
Natalie, who said she was regularly chased down Radlett high street by adoring young fans added that the local community has been “incredibly supportive”.
She is currently very busy doing intimate meet and greets and door stop visits, plus making personalised video messages for children’s birthdays and special occasions.
She added: “The Fairy Sparkles brand is currently being developed and you will soon be able to purchase merchandise including wands, puppets, clothes and other novelty items linked to the show.”
