A group of Bushey students have won an award at the FIRST LEGO League Challenge tournament in the London North West region.
On Tuesday, April 15, the team from St Margaret’s School took their LEGO creations and innovation projects to the Bosch UK headquarters to put their STEM skills to the test.
Taking part in a mission-based robotics game, the team competed against each other and the clock, striving to complete as many missions as possible within a two-and-a-half-minute round.
Additionally, each team had to present their Innovation Project which involved finding a solution to a real-world problem related to the theme, ‘Masterpiece’.
The St Margaret’s School team were rewarded for their efforts with the Bosch Resilience Award.
The school shared: “We are delighted that the team returned with the Resilience Award, celebrating their perseverance and determination. Congratulations to you all. We are proud to be cheering on the next generation of STEM wizards!”
