The Abbots Langley Players (ALP) have successfully staged the dark comedy Rules for Living by Sam Holcroft.
The play, performed in early May, explores rising tensions as an extended family gather for Christmas.
Speaking to ABBOTSnews, a spokesperson for ALP said: “Audiences enjoyed the production and the critic from the National Operatic and Dramatic Association congratulated the ALP for being brave enough to stage this dark comedy and doing it real justice.”
They also praised the director Annie Connell, the cast Johna Ash, Roger Gotts, Sophie Hodgkinson, Kieran McCarthy, Evie Mitchell, Delva O’Regan and Tracey Roper, and members of the backstage crew.
This summer, ALP are running a series of Summer Shorts – various activities that are free and open to anyone. These will run across the summer until Thursday, July 17.
