A recent survey has revealed that the majority of Chorleywood residents are satisfied with how the parish council runs it services.
The Chorleywood Residents’ Survey gave locals the chance to provide feedback on the services offered by Chorleywood Parish Council (CPC).
The results show that 82.1 per cent of respondents were either very or fairly satisfied with how CPC runs its services.
It also showed that 73.7 per cent felt CPC provides good value for money, and 83.8 per cent agree that CPC acts on residents’ concerns.
With 66.4 per cent of respondents saying it was easy to contact a councillor, several residents also expressed interest in a monthly surgery to meet councillors and the parish council clerk. CPC is now exploring the feasibility of delivering this monthly surgery.
Following the survey, CPC is also working on two other ideas that received support: an intergenerational reading initiative and a wellbeing café.
