Bushey residents say roadworks, traffic delays and chaotic parking are now pushing their patience to the limit.
Speaking to BUSHEYnews, locals shared that frustrations on the town’s streets escalated last year.
Reports included drivers abusing Blue Badge bays, attempting hazardous three-point turns on the High Street, parking illegally near the London Road doctors’ surgery, and mounting pavements.
One Blue Badge holder said: “People continually park in disabled bays without a badge. It annoys me as someone who needs those spaces. Some of the excuses I’ve heard are unreal!”
Another resident added: “The amount of 4x4s blocking pavements in Bushey Heath is infuriating.”
Others voiced concerns about parking rules, including difficulties obtaining a second 30-minute free ticket when collecting prescriptions.
Meanwhile, Clay Lane residents say drivers are still attempting to exit onto Elstree Road despite it being one way, calling for clearer signage to prevent further confusion and danger.
As frustration continues to build, residents are hoping that raising awareness will restore order to Bushey’s increasingly congested streets.
