Police are probing into a series of vandalism incidents that took place over the Halloween weekend in six streets in Croxley.

Overnight and in the early mornings of Saturday, October 28 and Sunday, October 29, several vehicles were damaged on several residential roads, including New Road, Fuller Way, Byewaters, Mill Lane, Rugby Way and Barton Way.

The damage mainly involved people’s windscreens, with wipers being pulled back and torn off and windows smashed.

Several cars also had their bonnets and number plates damaged, wing mirrors smashed, and back windscreens shattered.

A spokesperson for Herts Police said: “This senseless vandalism is simply unacceptable and has left vehicle owners with needless and expensive repair bills.

“We’re conducting enquiries to trace the person(s) responsible and would ask anyone with information which may assist to please contact us.”
