A choir that has been running for 82 years will take to the stage in Northwood next month.
The Harrow Apollo Male Choir, which was first formed in 1941, will perform at St Helen’s School at 3pm on Sunday, April 2, marking their first performance of the year.
Throughout last year, the choir hosted several concerts and raised around £5,000 for four different charities. They are hoping to do the same this year.
Speaking to Northwood&RuislipNews, chairman Richard Evans said: “We really appreciate local support. Come along for an enjoyable afternoon of music of various genres whilst knowing the proceeds for our concerts benefit a variety of charities. Like all choirs, we enjoy live performances and we look forward to seeing a full audience on April 2.”
