What’s London’s best and worst streets

One road in Northwood has been featured in a countdown of the 20 most expensive roads outside of London. 

Aston Road has been placed 17th on MoneySuperMarket’s list of the priciest places to buy properties over the last two years.

The average price on the street is 3.5million, 670 per cent more than the regional average.

Two roads in Weybridge, Surrey top the list with average prices between £7.3million and £7.5million, over 1,200 per cent above the national average house price. Surrey also tops the posh chart with 10 roads making the top 20.

At the other end of the scale, Aitken Close in Ruislip is the fourth least expensive place to live in London with average house prices 81 per cent lower than the regional average.

Whilst a neighbouring Harrow street was rated the least expensive place to live with house prices averaging just over £100 thousand pound.

Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea make up all but one of the top 10 spots with average house prices soaring above £14million.
