Barclays have confirmed to its customers that their Abbots Langley branch will be closing in February next year.
The branch, located on the village’s High Street, have sent out letters to customers to confirm that the decision has been made to shut the branch.
The letter reads: “We want to let you know that the Abbots Langley branch will be closing on Friday, February 19, 2021.
“The decision to close a branch is never an easy one, we hope the other ways of banking help you continue to manage your banking with us.”
Despite the closure, there are other Barclays branches nearby, including in Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted and Watford.
