A performing arts school in Hatch End is reflecting on another successful pantomime run.

Students chosen from Barefoot School of Performing Arts in Hatch End performed with the Immersion Theatre production company in their Christmas pantomime of Peter Pan. The run took place at Harrow Arts Centre from December 7 to 29.

Twelve children, aged between nine and 15 years old, were selected by Immersion Theatre following an audition to take part in the show. Two of the students acted in scenes as young Captain Hook and Peter Pan.

Rachel Johns, principal of Barefoot School of Performing Arts, said: “We’re delighted that students from our school were chosen to be part of this professional pantomime. The youngest member of the cast is just nine years old and the eldest is only 15, so we are extremely proud of their skills and professionalism at such an age.

“This is the seventh year our students have been selected to be part of the show; it’s such an excellent experience for the students!”
