A shooting star was spotted in Rickmansworth on Monday, January 9 at around 8pm.
The Met Office tweeted that there had been reports of a meteor in the UK, requesting that people sent in any footage that they had.
A Rickmansworth resident shared a video she had taken in response, describing it as “orange in the sky”.
The footage, captured on a Nest door camera, shows the meteor shoot across the sky at 8.01pm.
