Police have released an image of a suspected stolen ring in a bid to return it to its rightful owner.
At around 9pm on Wednesday, January 15, it was reported that a flat was broken into on Bushey High Street.
Two suspects reportedly forced entry to the flat, damaging the door, frame and internal glass panels. A gold ‘M’-shaped ring with diamonds was taken from the property, along with other items of jewellery and sentimental belongings.
PC Laura Thomas, from the Local Crime Unit, said: “Our enquiries continue, and I am asking anyone who saw what happened to please come forward.
“We are also releasing the image of the stolen ring as we try to reunite it with its owner. Have you seen it discarded anywhere or offered for sale?
“Please email me at Laura.Thomas@herts.police.uk with any information.”
