SEND NOMINATIONS: Chorleywood Parish Council introduces Community Champion Award

Published on: 9th December 2020   |   By: Amneet Kaur   |   Category: Uncategorized

The Chorleywood Parish Council has introduced the Chorleywood Community Champion award to celebrate those who have gone above and beyond during the pandemic.

This year has been a very challenging year but many residents have shown unity and have helped the community in various ways.

From litter picking on the Common, to people checking on their vulnerable neighbours, to local businesses going that extra mile to help out.

In recognition of this, the parish council introduced the award.

If you want to nominate someone who you think deserves to be recognised for their community spirit, email your nomination explaining why, to clerk@chorleywood-pc.gov.uk by March 26, 2021.

Parish council chair cllr Debbie Rosario said:

“It has become evident that during this very difficult year, many of our residents have gone above and beyond to help individuals and the local community.

“The parish council wishes to acknowledge these good deeds and say thank you.  We have therefore launched the Chorleywood Community Champion Award.”

The winner will be announced at the annual parish meeting on May 4, 2021.
