A Pinner school recently ran a science competition which received more than 60 entries.
Nower Hill High School’s science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) competition was part of their dedication to promoting the subjects.
Students were asked to think of a topic which inspired them to learn more about STEM.
A range of entries were submitted, including 3D models of animal and plant cells, rockets, models of key organs, and a working model of an escalator.
A spokesperson for the school said: “We were so proud of the creativity, teamwork and passion shown in the execution of these projects, which are displayed in science classrooms around the school.
“We would especially like to congratulate Cristina (first place), Jaya (second place), and Tiya and Adam (joint third place).”
The STEM ambassadors in the school’s Sixth Form said: “You have shown such a great passion for STEM. We really hope that you are able to see how important STEM is to every aspect of life.”
