The Russell School (TRS) has achieved top results in the national performance tables for KS2, ranking first place for reading, writing and maths in Hertfordshire.
Nationally, TRS achieved the joint highest performing school for their average scaled score in maths, second highest for reading and fourth for spelling punctuation and grammar.
Headteacher of the school, Claire Pitt said: “I am exceptionally proud of what the children have achieved and would like to express my thanks to staff for their continued dedication to ensuring the very best provision for them.”
Out of 481 schools in Hertfordshire, TRS topped the tables ranking first place for progress in maths, reading, and pupils achieving greater depth in reading, writing and maths combined.
First place was also achieved in scaled scores for reading, maths, and grammar punctuation and spelling.
