Herts Police have confirmed that the body of a woman found in Cottonmill Lane, St Albans is being treated as unexplained but non-suspicious.
Police were called by a member of the public at around 9 am on Wednesday, January 15 to report that the body of a woman had been found in Cottonmill Lane.
The woman, aged in her 40s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
In a statement, Herts Police said: “Her death is being treated as unexplained but non-suspicious and will be referred to the coroner.”
