A 17-year-old photographer’s pictures have been gaining a lot of attention from local groups on Facebook.
Kiara Markham, from Garston, who wishes to become a nature photographer, has seen her pictures receive lots of love on social media platforms.
Kiara, student at West Herts College, has had one of her pictures used by ITV Weather too in the past.
Speaking to GarstonNews she revealed: “I’ve always been into photography, I used to use my phone to take pictures when I walked my dog then for Christmas my grandparents bought me a camera. I now have a Canon 4000D.
“I want to do a job in photography, I’m hoping to become a nature photographer and sell my wildlife pictures but that could be quite a while.
“When I first started taking pictures with my new camera it was all pretty simple cause I was using the automatic settings. Then when I started college I learnt how to use the manual settings, which was a lot trickier but now I got used to it.
“I just find It really calming. I love taking pictures of wildlife and of my dog especially, it’s very fun.”
