DOG DAYS: Former Berkhamsted resident releases debut book

Published on: 2nd March 2021   |   By: Geraint Roberts   |   Category: Uncategorized

A Berkhamsted-born author has released her debut book and will be a part of the virtual Tring Book Festival on Thursday, March 11.

Ericka Waller, who was born and raised in the town before relocating to Brighton, released the book Dog Days, which is about three different characters going through different problems in their lives, but all have dogs who help them get through it.

Ericka was alongside fellow author, Sarra Manning, who will be discussing their latest books at the Tring Book Festival.

Speaking to BerkhamstedNews, Ericka said: “I’m really looking forward to the Tring event and delighted that we’re still able to do some sort of publicising despite the pandemic. It’s obviously been different and difficult to release your debut book in a lockdown but we’re making the best of what we have.

“I have a two-book deal, so hopefully in the next few years, when this is all over, we can do it properly and go out and meet everyone who has decided to buy the books.”
