Hundreds of people came along to the Green in Croxley yesterday (Saturday, June 22) to enjoy the village’s annual Revels celebration.
Running from 12.30pm to 5pm, families and villagers alike, there were dozens of stalls set up by local groups and businesses, offering food, funfair attractions, activities and local information about Croxley.
In the heart of the festivities, was the arena, which saw musical tunes from the Rock Choir, majestic movement from groups such as Harefield Gymnastics, Centre Stars and Aviv Dance, sporting prowess from taekwondo students and Croxley Green FC, and a traditional village maypole dance.
The day ended with its most loved tradition, the yearly push ball competition between the local primary schools.
Posting on social media after the Revels drew to a close, organisers Croxley Green Parish Council said: “Absolutely fantastic to see so many residents out having fun supporting Croxley Revels and all our local community groups and charities.
