Moor Park golfers Matt Wallace and Callum Shinkwin have retained their European tour cards for the 2020 season.
Wallace, who is an honorary member recently finished 5th and 15th at the KLM Open and Alfred Dunhill Links Championship respectively, leaving the pro sitting 5th overall in the PGA European Tour Championship.
Shinkwin finished both events 5th and 10th which secured his place in the top 110 – at 95 – for the race to Dubai in November.
Matt Wallace has not had the easiest of rides this season.
The world number 25 had an argument with his caddie Dave McNeilly in June.
Later last month Matt axed Dave and said it was the “hardest decision” he’s had to make in his career.
Speaking to GolfMagic, he said: “He’s done so much for me. He’s got me to where I am today, but it was a time and a decision that I wanted to be done and change something up.
“I didn’t want to keep being like that with Dave and Dave like that with me. Dave is 67 and he wants to improve every day and that is why he was my guy for so long. He was great for me and I am sure I pushed him on as well.”
Next, both players will have five European tournaments left before the end of the season.
Matt currently stands around €1million away in winnings from being crowned tour winner and Callum Shinkwin has played well to show the golfing world what he has in the locker.
