RENNIE GROVE: Two new charity shops to liven up Ricky

Published on: 19th January 2024   |   By: Sophia Sheera   |   Category: Uncategorized

Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care is delighted to announce not one, but two, new charity shops in Rickmansworth.

The first of the two shops opened on the High Street on Tuesday 19 December and there is a second in store for Money Hill Parade, due to open later this month.

Rennie Grove are eager to apply their motto “recare, rewear and rehome” to the very construction of each shop the charity opens. As the High Street charity shop was being put together, items such as rails, shelves and the cash desk were reused from other stores to align with the charity’s sustainability ambitions.

Deborah Gould, Director of Retail & Trading at Rennie Grove Peace, said: “We’re delighted to be bringing two new shops to Rickmansworth. The local community here has always been very generous in donating both their goods and their time to our charity shops and we’re pleased to be able to recognise this by opening two new branches.
