Ready to rock at Croxfest

Published on: 1st August 2018   |   By: Jason Allen   |   Category: Uncategorized

Croxfest returns once again to The Green, Croxley Green on Saturday September 8th

The annual music festival, a fixture at the end of the summer will provide families and friends the opportunity to come together and enjoy a day of music, socialising and community based fun.

The format for 2018 will be familiar to those who have attended before with entry for the audience from 11.30am and the first act hitting the first note at 12 noon. The final note is struck at 8pm.

The 2018 line-up is being assembled and band biographies of those already selected to play are available on the website, www.croxfest.co.uk together with details of all other aspects of the event.

The organisers of the event strive to produce a quality offering with as much as possible provided for the audience for free. There is no entry charge although as in previous years a bucket collection is taken and the Croxfest Just Giving page is already up and accepting donations. Significant effort is put in to organising the event including securing the necessary financial support.

The continued support of Croxley Green Parish Council, together with commercial sponsors  Grosvenor Estate Agents, KH Decorating, TF Tull, The Marble and Granite Company, The Kitchen Croxley and FBP have this year been joined by the market leading business-to-business events company UBM.

Overall in excess of fifty organisations contribute in some shape or form enabling a successful community event.

As a result Croxfest provides not just a great event, with quality acts, but enables good causes and charities free pitches to interact with the audience for promotion, attracting volunteers, a manned free to use bouncy castle and other activities provided by such parties as TopGolf and Heart FM.

Financial donations are always welcome – the more the event secures the more it can offer the audience, but equally the event benefits from support from a small army of volunteers who freely give their time to put on the show. The bands themselves perform for free, and media partners provide significant coverage getting the message out there in conjunction with the Croxfest website and social media content sent out via twitter, facebook and instagram.

Involvement or offers of assistance from individuals and companies are always welcomed.

Post event, donations are made by Croxfest to charities of surpluses generated by the event.

Access it all on September 8 when Croxley rocks once again.
