BeGin Again, a business run by Sharon Taylor and Lara Greenway, has been crowdfunding and donating hand sanitiser to people and organisations who are in need of it.
They have so far donated to Peace Hospice with over nearly two and a half litres of sanitiser – one litre bottle is kept at the hospice and a 100ml bottle for each one of their community workers.
They also supplied NHS workers at EDSU at Langley house Watford with over a litre.

The Sanitiser is made in small batches, using essential oils and moisturisers. Sharon said: “We usually sell one or two bottles a month but due to demand we are literally working night and day, keeping our prices the same as they always have been despite the massive hike in raw material prices.
“We are delivering to the self isolating, elderly and at risk all over Abbots Langley, Bedmond, Croxley Green, Rickmansworth and Chorleywood.
“As a business BeGin Again has been affected as all craft fairs, community events & artisan markets are closed so we cannot trade. Whilst we can we are maintaining a postal service and offer gift vouchers but the sanitiser is keeping us busy, though we don’t know how much longer we’ll be able to afford materials or be able to source them.”
BeGin Again started in September last year, thanks to a passion for candles and gin that both founders share.
They usually sell candles, melts, sanitiser and other gifts including lamps – all homemade, eco friendly and vegan.
