As RadlettNews went to press, The Radlett Festival Committee has decided that, due to a variety of reasons, it will be cancelling this year’s Radlett Festival which was due to take place on the weekend of June 10.

Committee member Clive Glover explained the reasons for the decision.

He commented: “The Radlett Festival Committee recently had a meeting with representatives of Aldenham Parish Council with a view to both parties working together to produce a successful event in the future. The outcomes of this meeting will be discussed by the Community Development & Engagement Committee of the Council at their next meeting. We will keep you updated.”

The Radlett Festival Committee is supporting one event this year – the Radlett Festival of Music which will be held at the Radlett Centre on Saturday June 16 with two performances at 2pm and at 7pm featuring the musical talents of local school children and young people. The concerts will feature popular songs performed by each group, from shows and films, such as West Side Story, Matilda and Sing.
