The group which looks after Pinner Village Gardens has been boosted after a donation of £500 from the Pinner Association.
Tim Owen from the Pinner Association presented Helen Ryan, the chair of the Pinner Village Gardens, with a cheque recently.
The Friends are fundraising and applying for grants all year to raise the funds to install new play equipment in the existing playground. With this cheque, the new total raised should be £11K by end of April and the Friends plan to use the funds to install the planned equipment in stages.
