A veterinary surgery in Pinner was wrecked on Saturday, February 10, when a vehicle veered off the road and smashed through the wall.
Police state that they were called to Pinner Road just after 5am following reports that two vehicles had been involved in a collision.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police informed Pinnernews that one of the vehicles then “subsequently collided with a nearby business premises [Medivet Pinner]”, and added that enquiries are ongoing.
Following the frightening incident, a spokesperson for Medivet said: “We are thankful that no one was injured in this accident, but the practice has suffered quite some damage.
“We would like to say a huge thank you to all the people that have reached out, expressed their words of support and care over the last two days. We have had emails, social media messages, phone calls and in-person words of kindness that we are touched by and grateful for.”
Just a week after the incident, the surgery replaced and mended the front glass panel and wall, the waiting room flooring, and the reception area, before fully reopening for business once again.
