A prep school in Northwood picked up a prestigious award last month for becoming one of the best prep schools in London.
St Martin’s School on Moor Park Road were recognised in the top 10 London Prep Schools for the 2018 Senior School results.
Siobhan O’Connor from bestprepschools.co.uk presented the school with the award on May 22. This is the second time the school has received the award in five years.
Best Prep Schools look into a variety of different factors including teaching quality, class sizes, pastoral care, facilities, inspection reports and more.
Headmaster, David Tidmarsh said: “This award reflects the continued commitment of the excellent staff we have at St Martin’s, who encourage the boys to achieve so well in all areas of school life.
“The school is achieving in what our strap line is all about – proving strong academic learning all areas such as, sport, drama and music which is what makes for a great prep school.
“We have high quality staff and hardworking and bright children that engage in the process.”
David added: “As the great manager Sir Alex Ferguson once said you celebrate your achievements and then continue and plan for the next success.”
