GOALLESS: Wealdstone leave Bath with a point in 0-0 stalemate

Published on: 7th December 2019   |   By: News Desk   |   Category: Wealdstone F.C

National League South table toppers Wealdstone FC had to settle for a 0-0 stalemate this evening (December 7) at the helm of Bath City.

The away side didn’t have many chances during the first 45 minutes as neither side looked like they going to give much away. There was very little for both keepers to do and there were no clear-cut chances either.

On the 50th minute mark, an opener came tantalisingly close for The Stones as Michee Efete’s shot struck the post and cannoned out wide. And City’s forward Adam Mann struck a volley just over the bar on the 75th minute mark.

As Bath City extends its unbeaten home run to eight, Wealdstone remains top and will be hoping to try their luck for three points again at The Vale on Tuesday night (December 10) against Eastbourne Borough.
