A Northwood resident is growing extremely concerned by the continued poor parking outside Northwood station.
For the past three to four months a van has parked on the double yellow lines on multiple occasions, the most recent being on November 30, to deliver flowers to the flower shop near the station.
The van is from the Wheelers of Chiswick, who are a luxury flower and plant company.
The concerned residents report the parking violations to be occurring at least twice a month.
The junction that the violation occurs on already has a dangerous crossing, reports the resident.
He said: “Whether you are old or young, someone will get killed there – I am convinced of it. It shouldn’t be allowed – it’s not right.
“I am just trying to be a good citizen and do something about it.”
A Transport for London spokesperson said: “We have been working with a contractor since November 2023 to improve the parking in the area, and we have seen that compliance has improved significantly. We will engage with tenants in the area to ensure they’re all aware of the parking rules.”
