Police have now released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a Watford burglary. My Watford News previously reported that on Sunday, February 16 a man entered Ansells Bookmakers on St Albans Road and made off with around £200. He entered at 4.20pm and waited for the cashier to turn her back before climbing over the counter and trying to take money from within the till. The cashier tried to get hold of the money before being pushed by the man who escaped with the till drawer. He then headed towards Watford Town Centre. Police would like to speak to the man pictured. Anyone with information is asked to contact Herts Police non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference number C4/14/362. Alternatively call Crimestoppers, the independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
