Detectives have charged a man from Stanmore with the murder of 19-year-old Anis Omar Zen in Harrow.
Saeed Ibrahim, 18, from Stanmore, was arrested on Thursday, September 7 and charged on Friday, September 8. He appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, September 9.
Police were called at 4.50pm on Monday, September 4 to Masefield Avenue in Stanmore following reports that a man had been stabbed. Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended. Anis was found injured. Despite the efforts of officers and paramedics, he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
Anis was from Harrow. His family are being supported by specialist officers.
Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are leading the investigation, supported by colleagues from the North West BCU.
A 19-year-old man arrested near the scene on suspicion of murder has since been bailed pending further enquiries. Ibrahim has been remanded into custody and will appear at the Old Bailey Court on Tuesday, September 12.
