A man and woman from Abbots Langley were arrested in connection with the supply of class A drugs after police raided homes in the village, Watford and South Oxhey yesterday (Tuesday). Police searched properties in dawn raids and seized suspected cocaine, cannabis and cash among other items. A 50-year-old woman and 46-year-old man from Abbots Langley along with a 30-year-old from Watford were arrested. They have been released on bail pending further enquiries. A 27-year-old woman from Watford was also given a warning for offences associated with cannabis. PC Andy Wise is from the Watford Operation Scorpion Team which targets burglars, robbers, drug and vehicle related crime. He said: “Under Operation Scorpion we work to tackle drugs and associated crime in communities. These warrants follow information about suspected drug related activity and we would urge anyone who has information about drug dealing to contact police so we can investigate and act upon it.” If you have information about suspicious behaviour or suspected drug dealing, please report this to police via the non-emergency number, 101.
